Job description
As a AML specialist you will work closely with both the business and other teams at Klarna. With a primary focus on AML, the role will contribute and participate in a variety of AML associated tasks, projects and process development. 

You will focus on:

  • Identifying and controlling AML/CTF risks within the business
  • Participation in projects that are related to the development of new products, services or new markets that affect the bank's operations within AML/CTF
  • Supporting the Compliance Team
  • Creating and updating guidelines, policies, instructions and routines within the AML/CTF field
  • Monitoring regulatory developments within Klarna’s business areas
  • identifying and evaluating emerging ML/TF trends and developments

Qualifications
Relevant candidates will offer work experience within the financial services sector or relevant financial authority combined with at least 5 years’ direct experience within AML, as a minimum.

This role is perfect for a committed and determined candidate who aspires to continue to develop their career within the AML/CTF field and the FinTech industry in general. 

You will be part of the newly established AML function at Klarna, so it is important that you are able to prioritize effectively, working equally efficient both independently and as part of the Klarna team.

You demonstrate high levels of professional integrity, take the initiative and get things done.  You are a skillful communicator and create clarity in your message to others within the organization, therefore we expect candidates to have excellent English and Swedish language skills.
