Alandia is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Market & Portfolio Strategist to lead the development of their market intelligence capabilities, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the long-term development of their portfolio.

About the Role

This newly created role will be responsible for driving Alandia's market analysis and strategic portfolio management from a growth and market perspective. You will identify attractive markets, business segments, and new business areas, translating insights into concrete strategic recommendations for senior management.

You will serve as the link between market intelligence, business strategy, and portfolio development, working closely with underwriting teams, analysts, and business leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Alandia's market and competitive intelligence activities.

• Identify and evaluate new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.

• Monitor market dynamics, pricing trends, capacity developments, and evolving customer needs.

• Develop in-depth knowledge of market participants, distribution channels, and strategic partnerships.

• Drive and continuously improve the strategic portfolio management process.

• Produce decision-making materials and recommendations that support growth, profitability, and diversification.

• Support business leadership in strategic priorities and long-term business development initiatives.

We are looking for a commercially minded and analytical professional with a strong interest in market dynamics, strategy, and business growth. You combine strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations, work independently with a structured approach, and build strong relationships across stakeholders. With a collaborative mindset and growth orientation, you are motivated by identifying opportunities, creating value, and contributing to long-term business success.

Qualifications & experience

• University degree in business, finance, statistics, engineering, or related field.

• 10+ years of professional experience.

• Insurance industry experience and strong value chain knowledge.

• Experience in market analysis, strategy, business development, or portfolio management.

• International B2B experience.

• Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English.
